Scifi Sugar PieMy boyfriend’s laptop’s motherboard is totally shot and now his laptop is useless and Dell will not fix this problem even though it is a manufacturer problem that many people are having with the 5160 series laptop. He went to plug in the charger adapter a couple of days after the battery died and it sparked when he went to plug it in.
Dell is aware of the problem and Dell is still saying that it is not their problem and that he has gotten 3 years out of it. He also owns a Desktop computer therefore he does not use the laptop very often at all. He is very irate that they want to charge him over $400 to fix this problem.
We will never go through Dell for computer needs again. They are supposed to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and he is very far from satisfied with Dell.
